Today’s Daily Paradox is a Verse with a Vision:
There’s a message of love and a message of praise
and a lot from the people who’ve seen better days.
On Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram too
and a whole host of apps that are unknown to you.
They trash all the leaders, rebel at the cost,
insist that their freedom is totally lost.
They hate new restrictions, become less controlled,
refuse absolutely to do what they’re told.
They’re sulky and sullen and sometimes quite wild
behaving as though an unruly, small child.
And when they’re a mob that has just been released
they start to appear as a lunatic beast.
What are we to do with this bunch of crack pots?
We’ve taught them and tested them like they were clots.
We need to discover a recipe bold
that helps them behave as if dreadfully old.
No, that isn’t right; it’s unlikely to work!
We’ll test them with something they really can’t shirk.
We’ll get them to forecast and tell what they’re seeing,
then each might behave like a real human being.
